Job Description

Summers Plumbing Heating and Cooling in Decatur, IN, is seeking a full-time Entry-Level HVAC Service Technician to join our award-winning team. Responsibilities

Assist senior HVAC technicians with service, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
Perform duct cleaning and related tasks to ensure optimal system performance and indoor air quality for clients.
Observe and learn proper techniques for servicing HVAC equipment under the guidance of experienced team members.
Interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner, representing the company’s values and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Follow instructions carefully and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the HVAC trade.

Qualifications

Ability to learn new skills and follow instructions.
General knowledge of hand tools.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
Team player with good communication skills.
Self-motivated and service-oriented.
Must be able to pass a Background, Driving and Drug Screening

Compensation

This position offers a competitive salary of $34,000 - $58,000 per year , based on experience and qualifications.
