The facility provides a professional and supportive environment with access to modern technology including EPIC documentation, ensuring an efficient and high-quality experience for locum providers.

Physician – Surgery – Cardiovascular

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens opportunity specializing in Cardiovascular Surgery
• Practice setting includes hospital rounding and surgery as required
• 24-hour shift schedule with on-call and weekend coverage required
• Coverage dates include November 26-29 and December 25 (7a) through December 28 (7a)
• Documentation system: EPIC EMR
• Required procedures include Aneurysm Repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), and Heart Valve Replacement
• Cardiothoracic surgery experience required
• Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Surgery required
• Board certification in Cardiovascular Surgery required
• Active South Carolina license required (providers who need to obtain a SC license will not be considered)
• Active ACLS certification required
• Self-query NPDB report required at time of presentation
• Clean background required for consideration
• Travel reimbursement includes flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage billed at the IRS standard rate (amounts exceeding standard rates must be approved by the facility)

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
