Facility:
This community hospital is a well-supported 61-bed facility operating at Trauma Level IV, providing comprehensive medical services to the surrounding region. The facility features a collaborative multi-specialty medical group environment with a strong referral network and partnership with a local hospital to assist with ECHO and EKG reads.

Opportunity:
Physician – Cardiology – Non-Invasive

Job Details:

• Primarily outpatient, non-invasive cardiology locums role with no call obligations
• Coverage beginning October 2026, with schedule of 3-5 days per week
• Average of 16 clinic patients per day with no inpatient admissions required
• Focused on high-quality diagnostic cardiology services and continuity of care
• Required procedures include Echocardiography and Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
• Collaborate with 2 APRNs in a team-based clinical environment
• Adult patient population
• Documentation via Cerner EMR
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology required
• If Board Eligible, date of graduation must be provided
• Active Vermont medical license required, or willingness to obtain
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days required at time of presentation – no exceptions
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• CPR for Healthcare Providers required prior to start – no exceptions
• DEA required prior to start – no exceptions
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of approximately 2 months
• Travel reimbursement available including flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage billed at IRS standard rate

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
